This piece is constructed from mild steel and represents the futility of the human condition. Here we see two opposing groups with diametrically opposing methods, each team struggling endlessly with each other. In the middle, the gap is books – symbolizing the gap between our view points: knowledge, education and communication. Even though these metal dudes will press against each other relentlessly, the hope is that we might do better with the knowledge contained between us.
