The chess board and pieces are made out of green & white resin, mixed in a mold. Gold paint was added to separate the chess board squares and add some flare. The profile of the frame was carved on the CNC with local wood of unknown species that I collected. It was my first time making one of these boards so I had plenty of issues but also lots of fun figuring out how to make it work!
