The square frame is 5 inches and was forged from 3/16″ square stock. Each has a 20 gauge sheet metal foot. Getting the scroll work and circles hand forged to fit was something I don’t do a lot of and was a bit challenging for me. As I was only making a pair, all of this was done free hand and by eye. The frames and scroll work inside the frames were tack welded together.
