Materials: PLA, copper wire, glass marbles, black primer
Parts were designed in Solidworks and 3D printed.
Getting the tolerances just right took some trial and error.
When you buy 16mm marbles they are not all 16mm!!! Grumpf!
The helical track was made from 2.7mm thick copper wire.
This task was not easy and I almost wanted to give up.
Yes, I wanted to use a thick wire, but that stuff work hardened so fast after just a few bends.
Unfortunately, the whole mechanism has just 2 coats of black primer. I ran out of white paint
for my airbrush and the new paints that I ordered did not arrive in time.
