Musical Endings

WayCoolWood

Made from poplar and walnut, these bookends were inspired by WayCoolWife mentioning she liked the bookended that had items “going through the books”. Using the mouthpiece, barrel and bell of a clarinet from an instrument graveyard, they were assembled in a way to make it look like the clarinet is going through the stack of books. The main structure for the bookends is made from 1/2” poplar. The treble clef accents are 1/8” thick walnut cut on the scroll saw and attached to the bases with CA glue. Finished dimensions are 9” tall by 4-1/2” long by 3-1/2” wide.
